Nice, I’ve not (yet) bought any of the graphic art, but I do love his glass work.

I was once lucky enough to see the originals of these - and to compare the lithograph with the original. The difference was significant

Hi - could you let me know who artist is please - I really like this

Being a kiwi from away back ( been in Aus) would be interested to see her work

Much appreciated Hamiltonnz

Hi Bevo, the artist is Susan Skelton. Based in Upper Hutt. Your post made me revisit her website IMO she has some really cool stuff. Thinking about buying my Mum a picture

That is a very compact and well thought out system you have there, the Pro_Acs look very nice.

Whilst this isn’t going to be everyones cup of tea, I’ve just picked this piece up from the framers…

‘Up and Vanished’ by the New York based artist Hunter Potter - he had his debut UK show earlier this year and I was fortunate to pick this piece up. There’s a great story behind it involving a long lost Uncle who disappeared whilst hunting and a chance sighting of said Uncle on a golf course in Florida… Who knows?!

I really enjoy Hunter’s art and will hope to add another one soon.

This is the proclamation that accompanied my Father’s Order of the Rising Sun medal. It is the highest medal awarded to a non Japanese. These are extremely rare. Just got it back from the framers. I remember the family took a limo to and from the Japanese Ambassadors residence In NYC where my Dad was guest of honor, then we went to the Four Seasons for dinner. It was quite a night. It’s funny the older I get the more I miss him.

Something a little different a collage, the countryside landscape is all made from material - a thing of beauty.

Newly arrived and awaiting hanging. A commission by Kimberley Harris entitled Shine On Through, which feels kind of appropriate for the times. To say I was overjoyed when I first saw it at the gallery would be an understatement. Commissioned in February but well worth the wait.

And now hanging.

Hi Hamiltonnz

Contacted Susan Skelton, she is in the midst of doing an original for me based loosely on one of her past works

Nice lady, very helpful and not over the top price wise

Cheers Bevo

The artist is a friend of mine, so this painting has quite some emotional value for me. Besides that, I like the colours, the dynamics, the balance between static and movement:

The top picture was created by my Dad.

The middle picture was a wedding gift from some dear friends of mine.

The last picture was created by me. A few months after my late wife passed away I came across a plastic shopping bag in the garage with all these pieces of wood in it. I had absolutely no idea why my wife had collected them but I surmised that they had all been collected whilst walking along the South coast with a young man with Special Needs who she used to take out from the Home he lived in for walks once a week. I made the frame out of Beech wood.

@steve2 I love all of these and your last one really touched me, what a wonderful way to remember your wife.
