2m wide, Xwing printed on canvas. Love to claim it was in my lounge. Between the boys bedroom.

No idea about this one, but there’s always something I hadn’t noticed before.

That’s just utterly gorgeous. He loves his colours, but yours is very tasteful. Must have cost a few bob. Enjoy.

I’m sure you know, but it’s all the Grand Cru Classé châteaux of the Médoc in Bordeaux (in ‘descending’ order). Top row is L-R Latour, Haut-Brion, Mouton-Rothschild, Margaux and Lafite-Rothschild.

Thank you Rod, I had no idea. How did you know, do you move in lofty circles or did you Google it?

I bought it 20-30 years ago with no explanation. I’ve re-framed it once (to go with the decor) and moved house three times since then. I just thought it was something out of the ordinary.

It’s quite a famous picture among us wine-types! Painted by someone called Carl Laubin.

Now that you know, you can perhaps try to work out the others!
Here’s a list of the candidates.

(And I think you can google for a key of the image, I’ve definitely seen it printed with one)

Just come across this thread, what a great idea and I’ve seen some lovely pieces of art.

I’ve been collecting art for many years, mostly from the Urban Art Scene and in the main, it’s all been prints. Over the last year or two I’ve started to focus on original pieces. Anyway, here’s a few from my collection.

From the Top:

Adam Neate, Brighton based Artist
Ben Spiers - Based in London
Tom French - Ben sadly died last year, this is one of my fav pieces
Oli Epp - London based, coined the Post-Digital Pop - it’s very difficult to pick up his work.

Found this in a shop in Aldeburgh a few years ago. Oil on 66" x 30" wooden panel, got it home and the only place it fits is at the top of the stairs.

Nice work Paley. :+1:t3:

Some more Utagawa Kuniyoshi prints.

…and two recently framed pen and ink prints from a female artist who I have forgotten at this time. I saw them in a graphics exhibition in London about 15 years ago but were only framed a couple of weeks ago…hand painted Ikea frames.

Here they are over the Naim Frame.

Truly supurb. I’d need my own pad to display those as they’re probably not Mrs Marksnaims cup of tea. Very much mine though.

One of my favourite albums - the poster is currently in the hall (hence the angled shot), but I’d love it over the Linn one day…

And one of my favourite artists, Robert Rauschenberg

And…so it’s not all pictures, just a very few of my Zuni fetish carvings, most of which, sadly, are packed away (a few hundred!)
