And in that way you can also keep old naim devices alive. Easy to talk good about a deviced that basically does very little but depend on other soft/hardware.
The LMS system has both advantages and disadvantages. It’s relatively cheap & flexible (the server software runs on almost all systems. (eg. Linux, Android, Windows). It’s free and maintained by community users. Depending on a commercial system always runs the risk that financial forces can always be withdrawn.
Well many at the time thought they had it in mind when they bought Harmony. They certainly didn’t operate the company for long.

Harmony was/is without doubt the best remote system on the market. I have two, there is still no viable and affordable alternative. So far Logitech are being cool like they did with LMS, so I hold out hope I wont have to have 6 remotes on my sofa.
Absolutely agree!
And bought Squeezebox only to shut it down - hardware-wise.
My Mu-so Qb 1 Gen. Still is not providing me an update to fix the iradio problem. When can i expect the update. Iradio is down since 4 weeks now!!!?!
The Update for your Mu-So Qb to run the new Naim Internet Radio Service has been out for almost 3 weeks. See details here;
Update from Naim: Just to confirm firmware 4.9 is now available for customers to update their products to switch from vTuner to Naim Radio - https://media.focal-naim.com/naim/file_manager_files/pages/legal/updates/streaming-products2.pdf Mu-so Gen 1, firmware 2.1.0 is live although, it may be filtering through the system for some, and this is for the naim radio update. I’ve checked update works here ok. No other changes have gone into these releases. We have also made available 7.3.0 APPs to…
You will need to ensure that you update the App then check it for the Firmware update for the Mu-So (2.1.0). Delete any existing Vtuner presets and stop any old streams.
If still no luck, then power down of the Mu-So, unplug from the mains, wait 5 minutes, re-plug in and see if the prompt to update the FW appears in the appropriate settings menu.
Interestingly, having started this thread over three weeks ago, the OP added one additional post on the same day presenting an extreme analogy and dismissing Naim’s solution to the radio issue as ridiculous. He/shelooked in a couple of days later, and since then not even taken a peek. Clearly the OP is uninterested in anything anyone may say.
I hope he/she have found the update and the Muso radio’s working.
Maybe they sold and bought a Sonos. I should have a look on that forum for any recent rants ![]()
The naim app does not provide an update for my muso qb 1. Generation. When can I expect the update to listen iradio again? Since 4 weeks down now!!?!

They could have posted a one post Google opinion instead, just to show to all that they are not satisfied. It would be the same for them.
I am using the latest Naim App Versio 7.3. I unplugged the Muso Qb more than five minutes from power supply. Still no update provided. I tried a reset too. Two weeks ago the update was provided for my other Muso in the kitchen, but it does not provide it for the Qb. Still any other ideas?
I would get in touch with Naim support - support@naimaudio.com
Yes, I have seen it and followed the advices and procedure. No sucess!![]()
I can’t help further I’m afraid. I have a couple of Qb1s and they both updated following the instructions. I think you might need to contact Naim support.
