Agreed! I recently acquired a pre loved Nova after finding that I preferred my trusty Nait2 with my new speakers to my other amps. The NSC 222 seems to me as if Naim have now created an upgrade path for Uniti owners into seperates. If the yet to be anounced New Classic products mirror the Classic line-up it will be clear that that is what theyāve done with the NSC 222.
And even better with a matching HiCapā¦
When I bought it, it wasnāt sufficiently expensive to get the interest free credit I needed - I was an impoverished PhD student at the time. So I bought a used snaps, and never used it by itself. I was advised to get a 250 first, rather than a Hicap, which is what I did. My wonderful dealer then upgraded the 42 to a 42.5 and then I got a Hicap. What a great setup that was.

You only need a computer and Audirvana. Itās as easy as that. Plug and play.
Gosh, memory lane! I first had a 12/160 and then upgraded to a 12S/250. This was in 1978 and 1980.
As a decent used NDX2 will cost upwards of Ā£4k, a brand new NSC222 @ Ā£5.7k would really make most sense. Hope you enjoy your demo.

Yes and I am thinking they will soon have a hard time selling ndx2 for that kind of money. If the new nsc222 can substitute a 282/ndx2 then the ndx will inevitably drop in price

Yeah and the poor old NDX 2 has always been a bit of a āgreen eyed monsterā around these parts for some very strange reason - a true Classic from all Classics 
I predict that t the end of May Naim will discover the new 300 series. So prices will drop after the mid June normally.
I remember how the Nds dropped when the Nd555 arrived. It went from 9k to 3k and now itās 2k.

No - I bought my NDS well before the nd555 came out and paid Ā£3k or thereabouts for it

Regarding used values, the difference this time is that the new classic gear is quite a bit more expensive than what it replaces, so I think used classic prices will hold up pretty favourably and especially for something as good as the NDX2.

I paid it 6k on the used market in 2016. Today itās sold generally for 2k.
Well I paid Ā£4k in June 2017 (checked my emails )

All of the newer players were released in 2018. ND555 May/June 2018?
Itās kinda hard to believe that was nearly 5 years ago!
