You have the Network Acoustic switch. Could you say what is the rest of your system, if i may ask ?
Yes got it. I have been into streaming / network environment in my HiFi setup for ages. Using for example the EtherRegen when it came out and tweaking it, the PhoenixNET etc. Now having ISP modem with NA Origin and Muon Pro in front of streamer (Lumin). Streaming via Qobuz is the same sound quality as from NAS in the meantime.

I have a full NA loom of cables, Tempus and Muon Pro Filter.
I am keen on trying the NA Origin PSU, but I’m trying to get my head around a world class PSU on the end of a cheap Internet Network Router.
I’m not even sure there are hifi quality internet routers available anywhere, certainly not in my part of the world anyway.
The proof is in the listening of course, still, I need to get my head around that mismatch in my mind….

Amazing setup. You will even experience a slight improvement when using the Origin on the Tempus (and you can use the Tempus one for the ISP one). And with the Origin every digital component will benefit largely.

Wait, you mean the Origin can be used for the one they provided for the Tempus. Isn’t the Tempus they given us the hybrid power supply already? Why not just give us the Origin if it is proven to be better? Pardon me for asking.
Yes you can use the Origin for the Tempus too (12V). The development that went into the hybrid power supply for the Tempus was the birth of the Origin from what I understand. Depending what version of power supply you have for the Tempus (there is MK1 and MK2) you might get a slight edge with the Origin - definitely worth trying.

Just got my NA origin + tempus 1 week ago. Still burning in.
Couple of noob note:
- Not impressed with the build quality with regard to high-price being paid. The casing is ok-ish built. As you can clearly see it is still a small team building it. I bet Melco or PhoenixNet will be more well-built than tempus.
- I also bet the internal might be too messy due to NA do not show internal picture and this does not inspire confidence.
- Pricey and might not worth it (my initial thought only first)
As for sound, due to still burning in I might not be able to tell them apart so far. If got improvement it is quite likely just 1% or may 0.5% on a already revealing system.
To me, it is really not that detectable haha.. maybe my ear is not good… or the issues of Switch is really just a last-mile thing to do.. (after all the source and amplification has been setup maximally)

Not sure what you’re comparing the NA Tempus against and what your benchmark for an upgrade is etc.
But…….. for me, 300 hours was what I used burning in wise.
I didn’t listen to it during that stage and it was a very significant upgrade for me once I let the running in take place.

Not really comparing to anything as still early. Will let the burn in after 300 hours first than will know.
How did you with this after burn in ?
It’s not bad. I think maybe my hearing can only comfortably detect large changes. Such tiny improvements harder for me to put into clear description. Overall it did not degrade sound. But is not drastically better also. Well 
I am $8k poorer that is for sure.
Maybe after a long time when I get used to the sound and then unplug it will I sense anything missing. Currently I just enjoy music first.

I’m contemplating an Origin myself. For my Tempus like you, and then I’ll move my Tempus PSU to my modem/router.
Rob at NA said it’s a double upgrade and very, very worthwhile.
I am just lucky my modem/router is compatible with the Tempus PSU.
Its an easy switch to make then.

Having your old tempus PSU on the modem is a good one. I order both Origin and Tempus together, so don’t have the original tempus PSU, else it will also be good to put into my modem as a nice upgrade. But to be honest, I have a hard time hearing improvement. I guess I am just not as golden ear as I hoped to be. Which is fine also haha..
