I use the Tangerine audio Skorpion base and Eklipse subplatform.
That’s not a Greenstreet
Google is not accurate then.
But how this greestreet compares to keel?
Badly.
Not one of the better efforts. ![]()
Troll
My stiletto has a trampolin 2 base board sitting on a Sound Organisation table the Linn LP 12 I bought in 1978. The only part of the original is the outer platter.
Derek and Mark came to my house to fit the Stiletto they advised me not to have the Skorpion base and Eklipse as it was deemed the turntable would be too heavy for the SO table.

Martin
Lucky its not the slightest cheap.
I do think it looks strange, but sometime seeing in flesh is better,
Linn’s pricing is now top insane crazy.
Guess there’s a few potential customers/Oligarks out there anyway.
People wouldn’t buy it at 1/10th if it was Ikea branded.
His videos are very good. I have watched a number of them. I think he is thorough and good at explaining things well.
The Bedrok certainly looks very special in the video. Has anyone heard it yet?
One should be pleased that the new plinth is not priced at say…$40K! To off-set the price of the LP12 50th at $60K… ![]()
Received Linns’ email today for the new plinth.
I feel that the plinth in Linn video & still photos, does them no favours whatsoever looks wise & may be unlikely to attract the sales they are hoping for. It looks more like a cheaper alternative to the standard plinth for these difficult economic times!
It would need to sound sensational compared to the standard plinth to make me consider one.
Not the marketing departments finest hour.
I think that someone needs to listen to it first before we pass judgement!
I am not buying one. It’s too much and the TA upgrades are great but again too much money for me.
But, if the Bedrok is a big upgrade then I am interested on your thoughts!
To me it looks pretty well made and stronger than standard plinth. The routing out and inserts for screws look carefully engineered.
Vote is out!
TBH I don’t care how they price it, nothing from Linn surprise me really.
The big question is - at the end of the day is the SQ a massive performance improvement over the fully loaded LP12 Klimax
Will it be 20%, 50% etc
It’s a huge investment if say anything below 50%
Really? I regard a Linn LP12 in a UK context at least to be the conventional Audiophile choice.
Money is too strong for me regardless of improvement. I am happy with Klimax level.
But for some it will be worth it !
Yep I’m happy with my 2 LP12’s at Klimax level
I said to my dealer yesterday I would need to sell one of those to fund the Bedrok - we had a laugh ![]()
Indeed when I was at dealer today we discussed plinths and I said I don’t want a bedrok but am considering plinths.
Look, I reckon it will sound very very good. If someone is the market for an upgrade, it would be good to demo.
Price is not dissimilar to KRadikal 2 with Urika upgrade!
Maybe way to look at it is not as a plinth but as an upgrade!l
TA vs Bedrok!
How much!!!
Couldn’t believe the cost of a Keel the other day when I looked.
