Ah. Not surprised there’s a thread, but I hadn’t spotted it (which is also no surprise).
I just mentioned in case nobody answered you.

RSP in UK is 8,750 GBP
I’ve merged yours into the existing thread.
How would you measure that?
Thanks Richard. Rookie error.
Can’t hear it

These days Plywood is a quality wood product.
When did that happen?
Have no idea how would measure that Clive - just trying to figure out how we come up with what we say when we listen to a new product
“That’s fantastic, much better, clearer , more bass, blah blah “
Hi Peter,
I am relatively new to the Naim forum, and live in Essex.
When you had the demo day for the plinth, did you use and engage Linn Space Optimisation for the demonstrations?
E of E
Yes

Looks like it needs sanding, bloody awful finish.
All they have to do is PAINT IT!
Like they did with the white LP12-50
Gloss black, and it will at least look like an expensive item. I am so surprised they dont offer this knowing what they were going to ask for it. Their “this is all your getting, take it or leave it” attitude is like they dont even want to sell any.
Harsh
In time I would imagine different finishes will emerge
No doubt with costs for a bespoke paint job.
Don’t hold your breath for colour choices the white for promotional pictures was very difficult so I think it is what it is nothing hidden.
I believe the complex construction might be some of the technical and visual appeal.
Imagine hiding all that work. ![]()
While I didn’t read all 300+ posts, I am surprised that so many involve how the Bedrock LOOKS. Was the subject of weight brought up? Is the Bedrock substantially heavier? Too heavy for a wall shelf? …just curious because I’d never spend that much money on this.
