I don’t know the exact number of fellow forumites visiting the site on a regularly basis, but I would easily say that 25% would “jump” instantly to the N272 replacement.
The day Naim opt to do it….

I’d like it to be a N272 replacement to drive some ATC SCM40 actives that I have on order. If it isn’t, I’m going to have the pull trigger on one of the Auralic products as there isn’t anything that’s really comparable in the Naim range.

Yup, the Atom HE could be an option. Will certainly demo one if I can. Preferred the Auralic Altair G1 over the ND5 XS2, so seems unlikely the Atom HE will win the day, but curious to hear one to make the comparison.
Keen to get my hands on the new Altair G2.1, just waiting for stock to arrive at my local dealer so I can see if it’s worth the extra money over the G1. The big compromise on the G1 is the digital volume attenuator, but at £2k it’s great value for money…
I am in the half that doesn’t know, so will happily wildly speculate until Monday morning.
Today’s speculation is that after the positive response to the Atom HE, Naim have brought forward the Statement HE launch, which has an optional tape loop at 35K and Focal will be releasing 50K headphones to match. A special feature of the Statement HE is that it has a special dip on the top to store the headphones and keep them warm so peoples ears don’t have the trauma of cold headphone pads. This turns out to be a major flaw for people who are owned by cats, as the cats push the aforementioned 50K Focal headphones to the ground and use the dip as a snooze niche.

It’s the Naim Super Conducting SuperCap (SCSC). It cools all your cables down to near absolute zero so that there is no resistance within the cables, leading to optimal SQ and no cable burn in required.
There will also be an optional extra of thermally insulated gloves for those wanting to fiddle with cable dressing while the system is active.

This year’s hi-fi budget has been spent and is now frozen and it will be next spring or beyond before there is a thaw. No complaints however, enjoying what I have!
