No, a Headline 2 with a NAPSC

Excellent choice

You seem to be going through an expensive upgrade stage at the moment.

I think you can run a Headline 2 off your Supercap?, which would be far better I think?

True what should have been a 1 box upgrade (new 272 replacement) has now added up to 5 additional boxes.

I don’t use headphones much but I don’t like not having it as an option.

Thought it might be better to have it’s own power supply.

Going a tad off thread topic now…

I don’t think so, start a thread and ask the experts.

Please could we stick to the thread topic. Feel free to start a new topic on anything other than the Solstice turntable. Thanks.

Are there any publications yet on the physical measurements of the phono and power supply units Clare ?

Just wondering if same width and depth of a hicap with a lesser height ?

Thanks

I would be interested, in the future reviews, how the Solstice sounds vs similar prices package, like vs Vertere Mg1/ Vertere phono and cart , and SME Synergy package ( with Nagra phono and ortofon cart).

They are 70mm x 214mm x 329mm, if that helps!

Thanks so much Clare

And a HiCap, for comparison is:

Dimensions (HxWxD) 87 x 207 x 314 mm

Meaning… slightly wider than Shoebox size…

HiFiPlus Editor’s note: We have one of the only samples of the Naim Solstice to have left the factory thus far in for review. The review will be published in our Issue 197, available soon. Suffice it to say, it was worth the wait…

Sound like they’re enjoying the sample !
