Yes, but I signed up for the newsletter, asking to receive announcements, and I did receive other announcements not long ago. If laws or their interpretation don’t make this possible anymore, there should not be a newsletter, and ideally a message should be sent to subscribers that this is so.
I get the frustration, just trying to offer some insight into the complexities that could explain the variability you have experienced.
Has anyone been able to see how the lead out wires come out of from under the tone arm? There does not seem to be a plug on the armboard like the original Aro.
Looks very neat and tidy, but obviously needs to be removable.
Mario.
Hi Mario, this from Clare is the best we have seen I think.
ok thanks, I guess the cable goes straight down into the plinth so the junction is not visible, but one has to be there for the arm top to be removable
I assume made like the Regas meaning cable is part of the full tonearm assembly.

Hi Clare,
do you know if the MM stages in the Supernait 3 and the Solstice phono stage are related? They sure look similar, but due to the RIAA circuit most do.
Maybe just a wild observation or conspiracy theory but it seems weird that the tiger paw tranquility and javelin with their other products became unavailable a few years back.
Scott
Direct from Steve Sells himself:
"They are different but the simple ‘block diagram’ is the same. Both use a flat head-amplifier followed by a passive 75uS time constant and then into an active final RIAA eq stage. Both use high quality films caps and selected resistors for the RIAA eq.
The differences are:
The SN3 is op-amp based, runs from a single +24V DR PSU and has 470pF input load (very good VFM)
The MM stage in the Solstice is made from discrete transistors and runs from a dual +/-14V PSU from two DR regulators. Has 100pF input load and even better quality passive eq components.
The result is a significant uplift in MM performance compared to the Supernait 3."
@Naim.Marketing – my thanks for the level of engagement you bring us customers from the “mothership.”
For this customer it absolutely helps maintain brand loyalty. Much appreciated here; thanks again!
That’s because Roger became quite unwell and was no longer able to continue.
Hi Claire,
The next most important question is how does the NVC TT compare to a Superline/Supercap? Many of us who have Solstice on order currently own this combo and want to know if the new phono preamp is superior? -Thanks!
Some very lively debate on this topic here in Salisbury!
So maybe not too far away from when we can have a dedicated and informed thread comparing the NVC TT Phono Stage with the Superline and its various power supplies.
Richard
Many thanks! I should have noticed the OP- Amp/discrete transistor difference myself, it’s pretty obvious.
A cryptic response to a serious question.
I likely will still be in possession of my SuperLine/SuperCapDR when I take possession of my Solstice package. I can probably persuade my wife to do a listening test with me. But I don’t want to pretend that our report is the “last word” on this, given the numerous other variables.
I like! At least it is not obvious, good to know for a new SL owner! ![]()
Thanks, that will certainly be interesting assuming that is easy to connect a Superline to the new deck? As if it is easy I will certainly be looking for a home loan of the new package when my dealer gets his.
Richard
Nobody from the Naim staff will tell us which phono is better. Would be non commercial.
We have to wait Bart or Matt comments.
