Hi @Stevesky I notice the HD stream from Groove Salad has gone AWOL over the past few days, presumably something at their end? FWIW the stuttering stopped a few weeks ago and it had been very stable. Thanks
Haven’t had it on for a few days, but just tried it – you’re right, no one at home…!?
I’ve also found it’s been better the last few weeks, though there was often some stuttering/interruptions at one particular time, for about 20mins or so each day, about 10.30am AWST ….before and after that, absolutely fine…Weird.
Forgive me if everyone else already knows the answer but me, did I notice somewhere that new naim radio is coming to older streaming products (specifically 272 and Muso 1) at some point?
Re: Groove Salad HD - their website is saying the stream is not available at the moment, so nothing we can do about it. For now the 320k stream will need to be used instead.
On this lossless one it does seem quite experimental at Soma (hence glitching/time of day loading issues etc). We’ve kept it in the radio directory as it was getting better, but if it doesn’t return by mid jan 25 we’ll remove it.
Unlikely, I know, but has anyone managed to use the “Added stations” facility to add the Greatest Hits radio premium (advert free) URL by any chance? (No laughing at the back please )
I have tried and only managed to get the standard one with adverts so have to continue using the Greatest Hits app and airplay. ( I contacted them directly, but with no success)
I contacted the team who run Groove Salad and the encoder in their data centre has failed and needs a physical visit to the data centre to sort it out, It indicates it will be a job for early 2025.
For now I’ve patched the flac feed reference back to the aac feed from our side, Once the lossless feed is working again we’ll review state of play.
