Yes auditioned with and without,hadn’t thought about HCAP when I went,but dealer suggested I listen,I was just starting on Naim trail ! I took his advice,bearing in mind It was all brand new,there was still a difference to be heard. Have since bought used XSPDR,for CDX2,but am away and haven’t had chance to plug it in yet,haven’t heard this yet,but going again with dealers advice,I’m sure I won’t be disappointed. Hope this helps.

XPSDR now been in play over a week,(was used) and am well chuffed.Bigger soundstage,more relaxed ,and more informative,onwards and upwards!

Yes, as an SN3 owner I enjoyed the review but I wish that alternatives had been compared to point out some of the areas that other amps could beat it.
I guess I just like the older HiFi News reviews which had measurement graphs and always pointed out short comings. This to me is a more balanced review style as opposed to others that would compare it only with valve amps.
