Nice Photos

Noticed an item on the news yesterday concerning the Southbank Skatepark. 50th Anniversary I think.

I realised I’d taken a photo of it on a trip to London last October.

Picture was taken with a Yashica T3 point and shoot film camera. No modifications to scan provided by film processor.

Somewhere between Nairn and Forres?

Or maybe Dorsett?

Close. It’s just outside Nairn on the A939 road to Grantown.

Went to the Marilyn Monroe exhibition at the NPG earlier.

Just lovely seeing all these pics, many very familiar, in the flesh and printed on a large scale rather than images in books and mags.

Will doubtless visit a couple of times more.

A blue speck on the tree stump made me halt. The rain had stopped and the Tree Swallow stuck its head out of the cavity, getting ready to resume the food hunt for her young chicks.

Here is a view along the Grand Western Canal just outside of Tiverton, Devon. and below is something I’ve not seen before in this country, a snake swimming in the water there. I think that it’s a Grass Snake, but at first I thought it’s an Adder.

That sir, is a very nice picture.

Out for a stroll today in a local estate with the hound, beautiful light coming through the trees and illuminating the river bed with this copper coloured effect

Here are a couple of pictures I took a couple of years ago. I stuck my phone over the eyepiece of a small scope. They have bred successfully for several years now on Pershore Abbey. They are always a pleasure to see. ( Unless you are a pigeon.)
