I know that area well, in the early 80’s my local was the White House on the corner of the A4074 / Church Lane, drank there for a good few years before moving to Kent, I believe its now a private house.
It’s a very rural area and one that has a fond memories for me.

Given the recent good weather in the UK thought I’d share this photo of Sunderland harbour. Could almost be somewhere on the Med, as long as you don’t look in land. 
Might make a good jigsaw challenge?
