Nipper arrived today, now settled in…
he has a black base…and looks pretty good…will take a piccy tomoz in daylight…
luckily he also likes a wee dram…

This one, the dog is solid - mine is in 2 pieces.
Still nice though… 
When I ordered mine, there were 2 types available (different sellers I think…), for whatever reason the ‘black base’ one caught my eye…both look good…

Yes, some others here are like cut in 2 parts from the head to the body. Don’t know yet what mine will look.
They are cast as 2 parts, then assembled.
