I used a Naim 555DR with my Naim DAC very happily for years and it made a huge positive difference to the sound quality of my system.
I have got great value out of keeping that psu all the way through since I first bought it for my 272.
Power supplies are a crucial aspect of a Naim system.
Perhaps if you spend less on power conditioning and cables, you could upgrade your actual Naim system itself?
Looks as though some enormous slices of rock have fallen off in your second picture above…?
You can see where your partner has traversed to - with some pieces of protection on the face.
His orange jacket matches the copper coloured streaks in the exposed Rock above him.
Hopefully relatively easy terrain because one never wants to take a fall on a slab while traversing.
Overall, a delicious position to be in when the weather is stable and you and your partner are in good form.
Some of the best days of my life were on big mountain routes like that.
I am pretty certain my 75 year-old brother doesn’t do any weight training, but he still climbs regularly so whether he’d still do that sort of thing in Mont Blanc I don’t know. His 60th birthday was spent in a bivouac hanging off a rock face in the Andes, his tale diarrhoea while on that climb is amusing in the subsequent telling!
These gastrointestinal misadventures are very much part of the experience! 
Indeed, some of the most memorable episodes from our alpine climbs tend to occur well away from the actual climbing

If climbing comes first you definitely have to work on your system
I struggle to see what I could have improved. 
I could perhaps have gone for the Magico M6 in pursuit of a little more density in the bass.
Yet, as strange as it may sound, I actually prefer the M2.
The M2 midrange is simply extraordinary, and the stereo image they produce is nothing short of breathtaking.
In my view, only the M7 and M9 truly surpass them. But those are in a completely different league in terms of both budget and room requirements.
As for the rest of the system, one can certainly find different, but not necessarily better.

One more purchase ( SC) , I am full loom Valhallas !! 
I have two sets of speaker cables: one 2 metres long and the other 3,5 metres.
I originally thought I would need the longer pair, but it turns out the speakers are only 3,1 metres apart, tweeter to tweeter.
Speaking of speaker cables, I still have my Super Luminas.
I compared them directly with the Nordosts and, to put it briefly, there really was no comparison.
My impression is that the Super Luminas are very much voiced for Naim amplifiers, whereas the Nordosts seem considerably more neutral and reveal what the electronics are actually doing.

Wow ..so what’s gonna happen to the 3.5 m pair? That’s lots of $$😆. Is it ok with 2/2.5 m pair? Won’t really affect much in terms of sound right? Cos people always say SC should be 3 m.. a myth I feel

I bought the 3,5 metres pair while the listening room was being built, as I was convinced the 2 metres cables wouldn’t be long enough.
I doubt I’ll ever part with the 3,5 metres pair. I’ll hang on to them in case I ever move.
In the context of Naim amplifiers, using speaker cables that are at least 3,5 metres long is essential. It certainly isn’t a myth.
Naim amplifiers (or at least most of them) were designed without a conventional Zobel output network. As a result, they rely on the speaker cable itself to provide part of the output network required for stable operation.
With 3,5 metres of NACA5, you end up with roughly 3,5 µH of inductance, which is, as I understand it, very close to what Naim’s engineers intended the amplifier to see at its output.

Yes, the Valhalla 2 range is rather special.
They work exceptionally well with most amplifiers, though one should be careful with speaker cables when using Naim amplifiers, as discussed earlier.
The power cables, in particular, are outstanding. Regardless of the electronics they’re used with, they seem to work wonders.
I’ve located a preowned CD555 PS but it’s missing the Burndy Cable. Is the CD555 DR compatible with the nDAC?
The 555PS comes without a Burndy as standard. That’s because which Burndy(s) you choose depends on the device you use it with. For the Naim DAC you want an S-XPS Burndy.
