Premier League Football 25/26

The Mighty Whites were in control of tonight’s game against Forest, apart from a scary final ten minutes, under the lights at Elland Road.

We’ve opened up a nine point gap over the pit of extinction for now, whilst Forest must surely be more than a little concerned over the outcome of tomorrow’s results.

Nice to see Dan James back in business, and Gabriel Gudmundsson is proving to be a fine piece of transfer business.

Next up is Chelski at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday, and I feel we can get a result.

Leeds were very much better than Forest tonight, all over the pitch. Yes we were missing 3 players in defence tonight (Sels, Murillo and Williams) but their replacements inspired no confidence at all. What’s more regular first-choices like Gibbs-White, Hudson-Odoi, Anderson and Aina were also well below par.

I hope we’ll improve at the City Ground next Wednesday against Wolves or we’ll be in deep s**t!

Most satisfactory (if we ignore the casual way we threw away yet another clean sheet & which runs counter to everything I was brought up on under Revie).

Our next 3 games are Villa & Chelsea away/Manc City at home. We’re a long way from safety but we’re putting up a decent fight. #lufc

Oh boy…

2nd dirtiest side in the EPL looking to nick top top spot from Chelsea.

Take Romero out of the equation, and we are angels…

Instead you made him captain to ensure we all understand what Spurs values are :scream:

No, we made him captain in the hope it will instill some responsibility in him. It hasn’t worked.

Anyway, why all the beef about us ?
Seens very bitter and personal recently.

And you criticise us for being dirty…

He’s back.

No beef with Spurs, son in law’s a life long supporter so as much as I’d enjoy seeing you relegated and a 60k ground in the Championship I really need you to survive (but not at our expense). As an Essex boy who chose Spurs rather than WHU like his mates the son in law hopes to see a 60k athletic stadium in the Championship.

I don’t think anyone watching Chelsea would describe us as dirty (unless you’re a Leeds fan, of course). Ill discipline and petulant immaturity mostly.

One from Martin Zubimendi and two from the bench for Gyokeres to send Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal 9 points clear.

I’m as tribal as the next supporter but 55 yellows and 5 reds

And tomorrow will be interesting at Anfield, if Liverpool win Man City will be a long way behind…

With Chelsea and Man U winning today Liverpool really need those 3 points too because it would be unthinkable for them as defending champions as the leagues biggest spenders last Summer not to qualify for the Champions League there is huge jeopardy for both teams.

Funny. Chelsea and ManU are the Prem’s form teams…

Your son-in-law sounds like a fine, upstanding citizen.

We need more like him.

Just wanted to say well done to Sunderland they gave us a real game again today Saliba and Gabriel knew they’d been in a game today.

Up until the subs came on and took the game away from them they were right in the match and gave us much, much more of a game than Chelsea did mid week.

Interesting fact:

I hadn’t realised quite how awful Arsenal have been in comparison throughout the century to date.
