re: Qobuz Connect Streaming
It is genuinely bit perfect and very similar to playing using the Qobuz Naim built in solution. The key differences are:
- Buffering - Naim built-in Qobuz implementation uses the full buffer (50MB, or 250MB on newer Diva / CI102 products) so less influence on internet issues. Qobuz Connect its about 6seconds worth.
- HTTPS vs HTTP. Naim pull the streams in http as less effort on decode, especially when doing 192kHz streams. Qobuz Connect uses HTTPS.
