The remote on my NSC222 works sometimes and not others.
I use the unit with Roon and local peripherals.
Try fresh batteries? Is your remote paired with your Amp?
After the initial pairing I use the Focal/Naim App on my phone to control my kit.

When remotes (of all makes) get flaky like this, I often find that exposing the batteries and ‘spinning’ them in situ by rubbing my thumb backwards and forwards across them a few times solves the problem. I assume this is due to wiping off any gunk between the terminals and their connectors.
IME, it is often an early warning that the batteries are on the way out, but the above technique can often squeeze a few extra weeks, if not months, out of them.
