I was responding to this comment of yours, and wondered why you believe that. I looked at the product page and didn’t understand why you think that would be true. What is there about it that will appeal to “every one who likes HiFi.” It’s a reasonable question to ask.
I understand what you are saying but I should have put “Not everyone who likes HIFi will like” Ok.

I’m not going to say what gear I have but I’m not anything to do with the makers of the item mentioned & my music system is better than a Crosley Suitcase

No that’s fine if you don’t want to list what equipment you have - you don’t have to and some people will prefer not to for a number of reasons.
As I said why not start a new thread in the Hi-Fi corner? It may or may not get traction but moderators have traditionally been pretty relaxed about discussing non-Naim products so long as there are no commercial links? It is pretty common if not verging on normal here for threads to go off on a tangent compared to the original topic. I was only using ‘poster’ as you weren’t the ‘original’ poster’ of the thread discussion.
Nothing wrong with being excited about a product you own and find to be good or excellent value. So long as there is no deliberate commercial interest/link to a recommendation it’s generally ok. Also it matters not if you have Naim equipment or something else - some do, some used to or have simplified, some might be considering it.

Easy to fall foul of some of them inadvertently especially anything which might be considered political even if you’re not expressing an opinion for or against something.

I’m afraid I wont be visiting the naim audio forum any more as I find that it could get to personal for me with some of the remarks which I don’t think I would be able to understand with out causing a fuss with how I go about replying. So thank you for allowing me to participate for the time I’ve been here. Paul

That’s a shame. Maybe lurk or give it a bit of time. Some people are a bit direct or come across as blunt just as in everyday life but I don’t think they mean to be intentionally rude or dismissive.
Equipment lists aren’t a peeing competition though I know there’s a whole spectrum of equipnent posted at differing price levels. It’s not an elitist forum. Often the interesting thing is what people pair with Naim equipment as it shows the vast variety of options available to us.

Yes I thought a numerical username was unusual but it’s not a deleted account username.
As I said earlier a somewhat generic equipment list but so long as there’s no direct affiliation to the phono stage they enjoy what’s the problem?

No, as I said later comments, not your initial questions. You were ‘direct’ in your queries. It might I suggest come across as a bit critical but it takes time to appreciate our individual styles/nuances.

Ok friends. I will have to look how to change my forum name because the numerical name was the only thing I tried getting started & since I’ve been stuck with it. But if someone could help me change it I will. I would also like to say sorry for getting wound up about something which had no problems after I sat down & had a think about it.. but as I said I would be very thankful if I could be helped to sort things out at times as this is all new to me.
