I’ve found Naim very helpful in the past if you ring up with a potential purchase serial number. But it’s good to have the list when you are trawling Ebay.
ISTR that long-build stuff like Statements get assigned a serial number when ordered but are dated when they leave the factory. So, you could order one in November but have it delivered in the New Year, for example.
The website update has not been completed yet. Your best bet is to contact Naim support by email with the serial number,. They can then give you details of when built, whether serviced at Naim etc…
It’s good for Naim resources to have an external list too… One of the first things we all check when looking out for used Naim boxes is the serial number to understand when it was made and in return when it needs a costly service.
Why is it taking so long? I found your post announcing the new website last April. Given that work would have started on the redesign some time before the announcement, it wouldn’t be unreasonable to guess that it’s taken at least a full year so far. It can’t be that difficult!
