I know. Just not yet in Australia apparently.
Yes but as Mrs Pete reminded me only the lucky ones will get to complain. Also I heard a great quote earlier, our grandparents had to go to war to save us, all we’ve been asked to do is stay at home on the lounge to save them.
Had my first fence party. We’re going into isolation. See you on the other side of crazy.
Or later.
We are allowed to walk or run only 1km area of our home. And no more than 1 hour.
Hopefully the police is not so strict in my town. I could not be in good condition without walking at minimum 1h30 per day.
So for me it’s about 2 hours outside, walk and food shop, and 6 km area.
But alone, not talking to persons, and with distance.
How’s the first day of isolation going, run out grog yet?
A day of two halves really. A typical day working from home, with a few minor interruptions from the girls. Finished early due to a light work load and went for a family walk. Just had a swim and will have a beer on the deck since its a lovely evening and so quiet (though plane just took off from the airport).
I’ve exited stage left from the virus thread and have avoided any TV news, to reduce my anxiety.
But, forward business concerns have been stressing me to be honest. A day at a time at this stage.
Thanks for the thoughts. How is it over the ditch?
Confused. They think they have the numbers under control but they don’t really know. It’s been raining all day, just stopped now and taking the dog for a walk. Think people are taking it seriously (finally) and doing what they’re been asked. Government now concerned by the spike in alcohol sales and warning about drinking to much. Also if the is a jump in numbers they’ll go full lockdown within 2 days. So it’s all up in the air.
Sounds like they are not following the scientific evidence then about transmission. I’m sure you’ll get to full lockdown. The USA and US are in big trouble I think.
No a certain leader thinks it’ll ok by Easter. Why have you left the main thread
Just need a break from it all. The pace of change here is a lot to process.
Nice new avatar too
Nobody won’t take me seriously now !
Now I’m left wondering what you meant by that -
- Deliberately using double negative to amusingly say that your new avatar will make everyone take you seriously
Or - not recognising the effect of double negative, actually meaning, with amusement, that the new avatar will result in no-one taking you seriously…
Given your previous use of double negative seemingly without recognising the resultant meaning, I suspect you meant 1. Or it could be
- that you were being very clever in deliberately creating this very ambiguity!
Lets go for 3)
I miss your system pics thread. Shame it got out of hand and sin binned.
You are too cerebral my friend. It’s just humor. My avatar is a bit the same as before.
Humor can’t really be explained. You catch it or not.
You mean systems pics of audio journalists ?
Evidently not, as you appear to have missed my humour!
Double negative is a grammatical error from me. Not deliberate.
