The black grills look superb on the white speakers they are very understated speakers

The ports aren’t used for extending the Bass , more for tuning . It’s a question we all probably ask when purchasing the non sealed cabinet range .

There you go…nuts have a bit of thread lock so use one of the screws in the hole in the binding post to stop it spinning… don’t do the nuts up mega tight or you may crack the plastic back plate…
Ideally I’d like to be rid of the cheap tags and solder to quality binding posts.

Gratuitous shot of the large bass inductor…

I did mine this afternoon, a little fiddly but I’m fat fingers so not surprising I found it fiddly!

I had to use a small screwdriver to stop the nuts from spinning and you do need small spanner / socket set as the nuts are small.

Worth doing so thanks Phil!

Just the stands to sort now.

Finishing building new house, first priority is setting up Naim and ATCs. It’s a good pairing.

It’s a real shame about the view out the window.

Looks lovely, speakers, new home and its position!

Looks like you live on a very big houseboat!

Seriously, though, lovely room and view.

Its a work in progress. Moved the set to the other side of the room

Not a houseboat but on the shore of Puget Sound. Powering the ATCs are NDX-2, XPS, NAC 282, NAP 250 and Supercap. Depending which way the wind’s going and because of the way sound carries across water, I need to be mindful of volume if windows are all open, especially in fishing season. Guest house w grass roof in foreground has SCM-7s driven by UnitiLite.
