Yeah, the changes on top of changes have got a bit out of hand. 
I need to check out the hardware first**, before hitting the software, so probably reverting to a “vanilla” config would be a good place to start.

Nah, my priorities were changed to clearing the garden!
Also there is now a firmware upgrade, so I’ll roll it all up together.
And finally I’m off to Londinium this afternoon on cat sitting duty.
It’s bl00dy tiring being retired!
Edit: Firmware update & factory reset done. A quick & basic set up, and it seems to have done the trick.
No idea what was the problem; so I’ll take the EF100-400 with me and go annoy the parakeets!

I’m not the first to say it but I have found that the ‘cheap’ EF lenses have delivered better results on mirrorless than they ever did on my DSLRs.

Not had any problems as not properly tried them yet. Put one in and is fine though. Have also used k&f concept with no issues for a year or two, all the ‘P’ toys.

For the R5.2 I’ve got an additional of Canon’s finest; I feel I could do with a third….but at a hundred quid……ouch!
Not sure about that colour though….

K&F ones are fine. Or Smallrig come in blue too…It’s just easier to have different colours when you’re going through a few in a day and maybe haven’t been as tidy as you could be when swapping. The K&F ones have an orange stripe to differentiate from my Canon ones.

Jaime, I notice that the Small Rig has an extra charging port, but I assume that it will also charge via a dock? (I have the K&F three slot dock).
I think it will be the blue variant. OTOH……….
Yep. All good, just handy for recharging on the go from a powerbank etc.

Oh and I don’t know how speedy your K&F dock is and the 3 at a time may be a benefit, however a while back I bought a ‘Hahnel Pro Cube 3’. It’s only a two at a time job but is really quick! Specially handy with these high mAh ‘P’ spec batteries.
£56 on Amazon just now, less than I paid a year ago.
Hmmm , now that you come to mention it, the K&F is not particularly fast. It was bought a year or so ago to charge tho LP-E6N batteries for my 5D4 & 7D2. And indeed, when I go back and look at the blurb, there is no mention of E6P. So an upgrade to the charger could well be on the horizon. But I do like the idea of recharging using my Power Bank!
(I’ve ordered the blue, coz AMZ claim it’ll be delivered today.)
