Poppy’s eyes, ears and joints are not what they used to be. She was a more mature little lady when we adopted her, and to keep her fully involved in activities, we’ve got her a buggy. All good so far and a lot easier for her, especially in more urban environments.

For over a week now, Magnus had been arriving here timely twice a day for breakfast, and evening meal. He’s remains a bit nervous and distrustful but allows me to get close enough to stroke and pet him, and he seems to enjoy this friendly contact.
Meanwhile, i’ve cunningly positioned an extra strong ACME cat basket near to where i’ve been putting his yummy bowl of cat nosh everyday. The plan is to attract him over to the bowl as usual but before he gets a chance to trough-it, he’ll be grabbed and stuffed into the basket with the door slammed up behind him 
The trap is set, Disa checks out the finer details with some camouflage and a heavy rock for stability. What could go wrong (?)

Get some heavy duty garden gloves or gauntlets and keep by the basket. Be ready for the lags, paws and claws being extended out. Good luck.

Yep. She still enjoys her short walks and sniffs, but it makes it so much easier (for all of us) to use the buggy for longer walks or unfamiliar routes.

Sakli pushed the door out of an identical cat carrier enough that he could squirm out in the vet car park as I was unlocking the car. I now put a bungee strap or two around the door. How such a small cat had the strength to do this still amazes me. Hopefully, Magnus is not as strong or determined.

That was good advice, wish i’d taken it now 
The grabbing went to plan, but the stuffing into the carrier was problematic after he switched into hyper-wildcat mode and put the boot in. I was lucky to come away with only one laceration on base of left thumb; severe, painful, bleed a lot 
required urgent first aid.
The bastard shot off out of sight, but a few minutes later returned to scene of crime as if still expecting breakfast. Then he calmly parked himself up in the garden as if nothing had happened.

Not exactly pets but from time to time they show up in our backyard. The Coywolf is a hybrid of coyotes and wolves. The male was happy to enjoy the sun while the blue eyed female remained on the alert.

I think he needs more time, I hope you won’t /don’t mind me saying that this is a road travelled before , and if my memory is correct it didn’t end well
