Soz - I meant Keel, I already have Kore. The 2 together will cost£4250 and as I’ve just bought a snazzy new pushbike the Keel’s gonna have to wait but knowing me, probably only a few weeks!
Actually I wasn’t sure I could justify spending >£3k at the time, so just bought the Karousel. I lived with it for a couple of days and then decided I would go for the Kandid after all. The retailer let me have the Kandid at the combined price as if I’d bought them both at the same time. So I have lived with the Karousel with my previous cartridge, albeit only for a short time. I must admit that I wasn’t so certain that it was much of an improvement over the Cirkus, but then it hadn’t had time to ‘run in’. But the Kandid was immediately noticeable. I found it to be a league above the Krystal. Then there’s the Radikal upgrade, which is absolutely massive!
Enjoy it I’m sure you will. Just a thought, take the bike back, walk or catch the bus for a bit and buy the Keel now
Yes, I got my Radikal not that long before the upgrade came along, a tad annoying but hey ho will revisit that in due course no doubt
Interesting to see that with the Radikal upgrade Linn have addressed an issue they previously denied, the ( shhhh…difficult to whisper in writing) controversial Trampolingate scandal
I do. My son lived in Welly for a few years and sent me an LP of theirs. Really love it.
Sorting out a pile of boxes (my wife’s command),
I came across the Tiger Paw Tranquility - I never fitted it…
Does anyone still use one I wonder?
All their albums are pretty good, my favourite though has to be Based On A True Story
Anyone not using a Karousel might be interested
I think Karousel must have sunk most interest. Certainly sank mine - I’d forgotten I ever bought the TPT (think I bought it used or ex-dem in any case).
I thought I’d get a response from you when I said that ha
Set myself up for it ha
That looks about right for you
I didn’t mean post it there
Yeah, thats a good un, try Based On A True Story
That - is the first ‘Gramophone’ that I ever saw & heard…
Admit it Pete, It’s just a wind-up!
Gee you must be really old.
I did mean to post it in the vintage thread, and yes it’s definitely a wind up.
