I have NACA5 jumpers they don’t do any harm. I and them anyway so reused them even though I don’t use NACA5 as my speaker wire but Witchhat these days.
Nice speakers. I had considered getting the Tablette 10 Signature several times after they were launched few years ago but it didn’t happen. Perhaps one day if there’s a plan for another mini-monitor. The main selling point for me is they are designed to go very near to the wall with little gap in between, say an inch or two. Most monitors require a lot more space from the wall…
Not sure about the Tablette 10, but the Harbeth p3esr loves current , adores it, thrives on it
Much the same size and my amp is 100 watts per channel.
Thankyou Ian2001. What regarding placement forward from walls? I read specification at 0.3m, is this your finding? HungryHalibut, In regarding to Tablette, the amplifier recommended watts is 05-50watts. So nap 300 at 90w means too much for this speaker? I maybe am not understanding fully. But I have some coming for demonstration. Best wishes and thanks. Jamu
And Ian2001, recommend watts for P3ESR is also 50w so I think I am not understanding fully. Thankyou
As HH noted a NAP300 will work perfectly with Tab 10 Sig.

Hi Jamu, the Harbeths are regarded as “difficult to drive” by many . I have read that these speakers are the hardest Harbeths to drive (and that is on the Harbeth forum)
When I compared the SN3 with the Rega Aethos the difference was startling with these speakers . I first drove mine with a NAP 200 and now with the Aethos.
Lynton uses quite a Nait power and seems happy , (his room and system is one of the nicest on this forum)
My speakers are out about 50 cms from the wall, that’s because the speaker cable I have is relatively stiff.
If in doubt ask a dealer or contact Harbeth direct
I have mine about 10cm from the wall. Regarding power it much more likely that you will damage a speaker by pushing too hard with an underpowered amplifier, driving it into clipping, than you are if using a more powerful one that can control them and drive without getting upset. My SN3 works well and Graeme has a 250DR, which is a better amplifier of course. Neither of us have any issues with the match.
The Harbeth is very much designed for free space, whereas the ProAc is optimised for close to wall placement. They are both small sealed box speakers, but designed differently.
Thankyou GraemeH. HH did write this and I am trying Tablette because he did. I was interested in more why ProAc have this 05-50w recommended, for my interest and understanding. Thankyou
I knew I should have asked ProAc for commission. £50 per pair sold on the back of reading the Naim Forum. They are starting to relax a bit after a couple of days but of course there is a long way to go. I’m expecting further gains when the proper stands come but Atacama’s production has been hit by the virus and getting them before January seems unlikely. Luckily Audio T, bless them, are letting me keep the loan stands until mine turn up. The speakers and leads will be a lot more run in by then hopefully.
Very Nice idea! I been looking at forum for long time before making a membership. And reading lots of your advice and ideas for everything like equipment stands / cable placing / power source etc. and advice you give other people help me a lot for doing my own system improving. So thank you very much for past advice that I did not ask for me! I love Naim sound and improving is not easy if you not have good quality people with advice. Best. Jamu
I’m sure better stands and more run-in time will help but how are you finding the bottom end response ‘out of the box’ ?
I’m not going to say that the bass flaps my trousers and of course one must remember that they are only 5 litres in capacity. I was listening to some Art Pepper last night and the acoustic bass was most realistic. The speakers are lightning fast which helps and it’s all about quality rather than quantity. ProAc told me that as the speakers run in the treble will calm down, bass will deepen and the whole sound will open up. The thing I’m finding with them is that they are so engaging that the ‘HiFi’ descriptions become irrelevant. Musically they are quite extraordinary.
Wow, just decided to have a look at the ProAc website.
What an embarrassment, worst website I’ve visited in a long time! Barely viewable on a smartphone or tablet.
Seems fine on an iPad
Okay on my 55" telly
I think that’s because it doesn’t seem to have a mobile version, so you are looking at the desktop version of the website.
Best

It’s viewable on tablet & its the same on a full screen laptop, but it really is in need of a redesign by a profession web designer, as it is it hardly gives a good impression of a modern cmpy.
My point exactly!
