My favourite photo of my Rega P9. It’s had a cart update since then.
Full spec is Rega P9, RB 1000 arm, Lyra Kleos SL cart, Naim Superline phono stage. All sitting on an Isoblue rack.

Very nice! Does the Lyra fit VTA-wise without the need for a spacer?

Good question. I received conflicting information on this—from none to 3.5mm. So, I opted to experiment a bit.

I started with the 2mm spacer I used with my previous Dynavector cart, which seemed a good place to start and at least set a benchmark. Once the cartridge had approximately 100 hours on it, I tried no spacer, which counter-intuitively reduced the bottom end (I think the slight change in SRA meant that parts of the stylus were being used that hadn’t been used before, so I was effectively running it in again). Then I added a 1mm spacer and felt it was moving in the right direction. I finally settled on a 1.5mm spacer, which provides the best overall balance to my ears.

My Hana ML now starting its fourth year and going strong. The Phono-1 on the top shelf recently vacated by my pre-amp with the arrival of the Nait 50. It’s also sounding wonderful this evening..

Does this qualify for Show us your turnable…it can’t complete with the various Linn’s / Rega’s and the other audio excellence shown, but I’m sure quite a few of these will be turning up on Christmas Day…
…I’ll get me coat

It looks good to me! The main thing is does it give you pleasure, and it obviously does, so pick a favourite disc, sit back and enjoy :+1:

Finally arrived today, very nicely made and very very heavy the plater is 8kg
Sound wise it’s very much as you would expect for a solid metal turntable it’s very accurate and precise in presentation and very solid bass complete opposite to the lenco 75 .. yep I like it very much

I have a P1 in a second system fantastic deck for the money but if you haven’t already swap the cartridge for a an AT VM95E it’s the best value upgrade I’ve ever heard.

It’s great to see turntables that are not made by Linn, Rega or Technics, but please tell poor souls like me what they are.

Yes sorry
It’s an acoustic solid 111 from Germany all hand made .

Both look marvellous - more like Nottingham Analogue/ Avid/ SME than Rega P10, but that is no complaint.
