Despite my rock tendencies, I have a weak spot for smooth jazz/funk and Jazz Rock. My current small collection includes Acoustic Alchemy, Down to the Bone, Bona Fide, Peter White and then Jeff Beck and Colosseum on the jazz rock side … I’d love to increase my collection, so any recommendations gladly received!
Brilliant! Thanks…

Plenty more where they come from.

I would suggest you to listen to Jeff Lorber, he’s one of the best IMHO
Some albums you might want to try:

When I think of smooth Jazz, I gravitate to Grover Washington Jr. - Winelight - (Mostly because I love Bill Withers)

These two double CD albums don’t IMO include any duff tracks, and the compilation selection can lead one to preferred artists. The SQ is excellent though-out and music good either enjoyed from the home audio or when out and about in the car.
