Wasn’t sure you could reply to your own post. Glad I can.

Listening to Naim Radio now - have to add the shreeky Barb Jungr to this list.

Sorry Babs, sure you’re a lovely and talented singer. But it’s like nails on a chalkboard. Go country or go operatic. This middle ground is making my blood pressure go up.

The UK national anthem, which is played at various times, would top my list.

Somebody at Naim radio has got it in for me. Left my office once I hit go on that post about Barb Jungr.

2 hours later I walk back in, and who’s on the radio? Babs.

Well played again, Naim Radio.

Man she’s horrible.

Wonderwall.

Orf with his head !!!

I used to close my mobile disco gigs with Gentle Giant’s version…

…Wreck!

J. Geils “Angel In The Centerfold” always bugged me.

Another vote for Bohemian Rapsody. I cannot stand Mercury’s voice and the cod Opera just makes the whole thing even more grating.

In fact I cannot stomach any music that Queen have foisted on the World. Their cheesy wailing guitar player is insufferable too, I was once persuaded to see Queen live. Thanks to a few pints of London Pride I fell asleep.

Oasis are close runners up in my personal list of groups I dislike immensely. Then there are the attempts to make Rock music here in Italy by Vasco Rossi and Ligabue, two truly awful singers. Check them out if you are a masochist.

Reading other comments, there is plenty of stuff I had forgotten about, which I could add to my list.

Hi Graeme, I’m glad I’m not the only one who hates Bolero! If ever a piece of music outstays its welcome, this is it! A good example of an “ear-worm”.

Mull of Kintyre would be high on my list

Flat, nasally, monotone and a dynamic range of 2dB tops.

I remember Noel Edmonds on Swap Shop asking people if they knew what a ‘mull’ was and a young girl rang up an said is was an animal that lived underground.
