Songs You Really Can't Stand! šŸ˜‚

If you’ve ever enjoyed the pleasures of a corporate team building event, with this song as the ā€˜fun’ energiser, you’d agree with me that there is nothing glorious about it. I do give you the irony, though. And wholly agree that it is junk.

Symphony - Clean Bandit

Love Yourself - Justin Bieber

I was out about in the car and Ed Sheeran was mentioned on the radio and I immediately go, ā€œYes, Ed Sheeran. Everything by Ed Sheeranā€!
Then Peter Frampton came on, you know the one, with the ā€˜voice box’ tube thing in his mouth :-1:
There are more but I will post them as I remember them :slightly_smiling_face:

Taylor Swift got married! If ever there was an artist that epitomised style over substance she was it - on my way home today the radio was playing her songs back to back - it was like slow torture….. T

Unless you like the whole universe, in which case there isn’t anything you hate.

Or the whole universe minus the Smiths.

It’s not really it was tongue in cheek

My response was intended to be jocular as well.

This is not one I’d like to listen to every day, and I could live quite happily without hearing it again.

But the first time I heard it when it was first created I liked the lyrics and the vibe and the sense of a story in song building up.

Yes, it seems to me that in formal concerts and public situations including shops Music is being played more and more often, and louder with more muscular PA systems than in the past and becoming more intrusive.

Yep. Depressing.

And her wedding was the MAIN story on the Beeb website this morning.
What on earth has the world come to

I remember, just, that we studied the lyrics of AP in an English lesson at school. I think the teacher was a fan.

The Lady In Red by Chris de Burgh. I’d rather stick pins in myself than hear that dreadful crap ever again.
