Are you using HDMI ARC or optical between the TV and the MuSo?
I’m using HDMI ARC. Mind you, I have found unstable behavior in the past with the connection but not the problem you describe.
I too have had this same issue. Only purchased rhe TV around 6 weeks ago, completed firmware, having the same issue. I was going to use optical, however you only get stereo, and given i wanted to use as sound bar wanted to have benefit of dolby atmos. Let’s see what either Sony of Naim come back with. Until then have the volume popping up every 90sec.
Hmmm, the MuSo doesn’t do dolby Atmos (pretty sure of that), so you probably wont hear a difference between optical and HDMI ARC between the TV and the MuSo. I did try, actually and although i was mostly checking the dreaded pop up issue (not happening with optical connexion), there was nothing immediately different/noticeable sound-wise… the main issue with optical is the need to have one remote for the MuSo (to control volume), and another one for the TV (or Apple TV in my case), which is really one of the thing ARC (over HDMI) deals with neatly…
Once again, i am pretty sure this is a problem on the Naim side, with the MuSo sending a heartbeat to the TV via HDMI ARC every 60s, which then triggers the popup with the last 2 Sony firmware versions…
Keeping things alive (like the Muso does with my TV, certainly)… Looks like it is not only 2 of us:

There is a new firmware update today for the Sony Bravia 7 and the change log mentions the volume bar.
I did the Sony A95L firmware update 2 days ago (Canada) and it has solved the issue of the volume icon popping up continually while connected to the HDMI input on my Naim Uniti Star.
Interesting!
I just did the update, and (on the plus side) the problem went away (yay!).
The behaviour changed somewhat: the pop up appears when I update the volume using the Sony remote (the Muso reacts as required), but no longer when using my Apple TV remote (although the Muso also reacts as required)…
Looks like Sony restricted the pop up behaviour to direct volume updates from the TV remote, and basically disabled the pop up when reacting to a ARC CEC request…
All in all it makes sense and importantly the annoyance has gone away!
I clearly was wrong when saying the required changes were on the Naim side, I would happily acknowledge!
Fortunately! The updated was rolled out here today and the problem seems to be resolved!
Despite it being resolved this solution leaves me unable to bring a cake with me on the factory visit ![]()
Have a nice weekend!

I’ll check whether the updates have fixed my old Google oled..
