Something I don’t think any if us has thought to ask - are the speakers mainly for TV use as your last post suggests? I always assume on here that people are focused on music unless they make it clear a query is about TV/home cinema.
The main purpose is music, but rather than fanny about with a different setup for the tv I run the tv through the DAC via optical.
Obviously the TV sounds turd using it’s onboard speakers!

I use the sub for both music and tv.
It just adds a little something musically, and provides impact for TV.
