Yup sure is.
I used to play APP’s LPs a lot when I was in my twenties. Their albums often include one great song but I understand why they can be hated.
It’s progressive pop in a way, with all the risks of rethorics and orchestral ‘magnificence’.
I still have a soft spot for Pyramid though…
But at the same time, is the AAP so much more kitsch than, say, Queen? That’s a band I would not listen to if they paid me. Each to his own I guess.
