Whilst the remote has not completely stopped working it will not turn the amp display off. It will work with the balance, volume and source selections with no problem but as said will not work to turn off the display.
I have done the obvious, changing batteries but with no effect. Has this happened to anyone before, is the remote knackered?
Try a hard reset;

It’s not a volume problem, merely that I can’t turn the amp display off.
Maybe the contact under the ”disp” button is dirty/oxidated.
You need to press the ‘pre’ button first. I claim my prize.

I do like a fish finger sandwich, though those posh gougons are much better.
That’s the instructions to reset the amp (which you no longer need). In case the amp was ignoring your remote. (Which it wasn’t)
