SuperNait 3 discontinued

Or available at a price?

Easily solved.

Naim should roll out the Nait 50 into full production… :+1:t3:
And bring out a matching CB streamer while they’re at it :slightly_smiling_face:

They have the nc streamers already.

Yes, it’s very disappointing for them to have to cease production as the SN3 sells very well.

Yes, but not shoe box chrome bumper to match Nait 50

To replace what? The Uniti range?

Nait 50 isn’t current. It was a one off production.

I’d like to think so but I’m seriously doubting it.

Just to replace the SuperNait, I think it will look like a 332. basic version of the 222’s pre amp bit with an amplifier from the nova pe (oh no!haha) or not

Read my post … Naim should roll out Nait 50 into full production

I guess one possibility is that Naim always intended to introduce an integrated in a NC box and got bounced into early discontinuation of SN3 by the supply shortages. Pure speculation, of course.

The xs3 is there already, or the Unity range if an all in one streaming box is required. It seems that Naim have gone all in with streaming pre’s for the nc. Will they drop the xs3 and go for an sn3 replacement with no streaming in an NC form?

Yes but look at the success of the take up ( cough) and discounting with that product.

I suspect the xs3 and 5 cd player will vanish with no replacement and the supernait nc will be about 5k

SN4 by the sound of it.

SN5. Naim doesn’t do 4s because it scares people in Asia

I don’t think that’s coming, and looking at the software issues on the Naim streaming platform I’m glad I never went there.

Got some doubts these days and all my recent purchases have been outside brand and been excellent.

The Technics gear, the Musical Fidelity, it’s really competitive out there, and I’ve lusted after a Michi since their first release back in early 90’s I think.

Add to the fact my Rotel 965bx cd player is still going strong in parents system.

Also think a Sn4 would be above pricing point of the Michi. I reckon 7999.

I have no scintilla of a possibility of regrets over leaving Naim for the Michi purchase.

It’s terrific listening and I read all this nonsense that people are having to put up with over software updates, connectivity, app. issues etc. and don’t miss any of the operating issues either :slightly_smiling_face:

Funnily enough my first CDP was a Rotel 820. Sounded far more musical than other players I tried. Was still working fine when I last unplugged it. Safe in its box upstairs still.
