One of the Swedish best selling Naim resellers just few weeks back communicated
“Naim Supernait 3 now comes with white logo and lighting to match the “The new classic” series.”
NDS and Superline end of service because they just discovered they cannot service them. SN3 EOL because the company that is known for being able to support products for ages stocking components suddenly cannot build a traditional integrated amp. If it’s as said one of their best selling products you don’t put yourself in this position…Makes you wonder…
I’d say… French politics.

Well to be fair they’re no longer building them as they want to keep a stock of parts to service existing units apparently - so that’s somewhat comforting. Perhaps some component manufacturer suddenly pulled the plug or went bust which would be outside Naims control

I hope we see a replacement for the SN3 in the new classic styling with the ladder volume - pretty much looking like a 332. But I do wonder with the vast dominance of streaming, whether the range will be Uniti, Nova PE, 222, then the 300 series. Then adding in the new Focal/Naim all-in-one speakers that will certainly trickle down into smaller models.
The Core is a bit of a loss I feel, I love mine, though it has stiff competition and with the dominance now with on-line streaming, this probably reflects the overall simplification of the range. Seems odd that parts are an issue for the Core, as it could presumably just be tweaked with software or hardware.

Nah, there’ll be a Supernait 4 or whatever they call it, there’s a gaping hole in their line up otherwise and if the SN3 was as big a seller as rumoured then the gap needs to be filled asap. I suspect the successor is already in the pipeline regardless but now will have to be accelerated
Which way are SN3 used prices going now? Up or down?

Yes I remember that and making a point of a 4 or a 5 is hilarious if one takes into consideration the extra mile Focal and Naim goes to decimate the far east and west (USA) sales and more importantly customer support.
In the Netherlands and the rest of Europe it’s ok really, but our friends in Australia seem to suffer a lot.

I suspect that for both the Core and the SN3 the issues could have been fixed but would have required some level of re-design and potentially an up-issue of the PCB. This may then of entailed qualification and certification of the updated units. In the case of the SN3 you would hope that the replacement is near enough to being ready that it is as quick to pivot to that as it is to do the re-design and with a much better payback of the engineering effort required. In the case of the Core it may just be that volumes are so low that the expenditure required for the redesign could not be justified.
The big worry for owners of current product would be if the components that are unobtainable are ones with a higher failure rate (eg relays). In that case we better hope that Naim have kept enough stock to support for an extended period.
