My whole setup consists of a Naim Uniti Star and 2 Spendor A4’s which I have in my bedroom. I’m in the process of adding a Rega Planar 1 Plus turntable. I use a network drive via Wi-Fi to play lossless compressed files.

The A4’s are fab once run in, I had a pair before my A7’s, I think they’re better then the 7’s in many ways, nice view btw!

Upgrade to deck IttockVII to Ekos SE, stunning Ittock is a great arm, Ekos SE is something on another level

Also naim pre fix fitted over stageline powered by HCDR

Having now the beloved Mu-so qb put in this position and having a 12 mm transparent tempered glass plate with 3 balls and naim cups would it be the case to insert it as a base shelf? Would it also improve sound and performance? I accept any advice for this small environment…

Thanks, I’m like my A4’s very much. I tried to picture the system and the view at the same time but I think I ended up with a mediocre mix of both things. I’ll try to do it better next time when my RP1-plus is in service.

Waiting for new Sofas to arrive. Sounding a little bit lively.

Fabulous. I don’t covet many speakers, but I’ll make an exception for black ash 'Briks!

Going to give Kate Bush a spin now to celebrate getting comfortable seating. Hopefully they’ll tame some of the brightness in the sound.

Edit; straight away the answer to that is yes. Nice balance, still lively but not to the extent of being bright or harsh. Comfortable back and comfortable ears.

I’m not sure I have ever posted in this thread before and certainly cannot claim to have such a beautiful room as many on here. The system has remained static in pure hifi terms for the past 20 years or so but is currently in a state of change. The NDX came in a month or so ago, there’s a NAC82 coming tomorrow (2001 model) and the SBL are likely in the short to medium term to be replaced by ATC SCM40 passives complete with dedicated center channel while the SBL will move to rear surround duties.

I’m then planning to add a supercap, change the arm on the Gyro to SME IV and finally move to NAC52. That’s the system I always dreamed of and I hope I’m able to achieve it eventually.

Everything is powered off a dedicated spur with a Graham’s Hydra for the Naim stuff and a couple of Graham’s 6 way sockets for the rest.

I’ve had a huge amount of pleasure from this system and it has been a remarkably good investment. The Gyrodec I will never part with because it was my dream turntable for 19 years before I got one and in fact was an engagement present from my wife!

What do the 804 D3s sound like?

Any room with a Naim system, a bunch of CDs, and guitars and amps is a killer room!

Just sayin’…
