thanks JImdog

I realised they were 3 way large standmounts - i thought they would be something else - maybe a Troelsgravesen design or something like that…

The SHL5+ are very good speakers though…

PS : The elephant has very nice decorations on it…

njoi !!

I have a smallish room, and the P3ESR does very well. A very articulate speaker and I was surprised how deep it can go , though I haven’t tried any Bach organ works recently.

PS Like the room

Maybe on propper stands and positioned for their output rather than where the Arivas were?

Yes, indeed.
If I was going to keep them I would spend a long time getting all of that right.
But they are not clearly going to be better all round even after all that expense and work.
So the funds are best invested elsewhere.
The sound is too soft for my liking.

i like the elephant too. Also the wine on the speaker :man_dancing:

:clinking_glasses: everyone. Loving the community of naim owners. Such a pleasure sharing and learning about the world of :zap: and :loud_sound:

Have been running these ‘porno’ totem tribe towers in with Atom and cord Clearway for the last couple weeks. Pure :notes: and :eye: pleasure. Though I can’t help but wonder about the untapped potential… dreaming of something like a nap200 to upgrade… Your thoughts?

I have some slight regret I didn’t get the wall mount tribes which would have filled the room from the back wall (above the stairwell) giving an even better spread to the open plan kitchen… I’m wondering if I could build a sort of wall mount/ledge they could sit on. Thus also providing a safety from the oncoming baby…

Ive had a listen to those tribe wall mounts and they are very good. They have the same drivers, crossover and internal volume as your towers.
Getting the speaker cables across over the stairwell and up the wall for them would be a logistal nightmare. I think you made the right choice.

The line “that ain’t working that’s the way you do it” would also have been applicable just after the unboxing stage of this particular installation, after arriving at the holiday destination.! I was in dire straits for a moment.

Love the Tribe towers, I have the Sky towers.
Yes one thing about those torrent drivers is they are not very efficient and like lots of current. There normal impedance is 4 ohms. A 250 or 300dr would be more appropriate.

I power my Tribe Towers with a Supernait 2. It is a wonderful match!

Those Totem Tribe towers are quite the business. I have Totem Hawks, originally with the UnitiQute2 and a NAP100, now with the Nova, they do like current. Also have the Forest Signatures with a SN2. I’m a bit of a Totemphile.
