Presumably, she’s candid enough already. (groan).
Who is this Bobby Gentry? Bobbie’s less well known brother?
TheKevster,
This is Pioneer T-C3, 2 heads, auto revers. It’s part of a system which consist of tuner, CD and amp.
I have only the cassette tape deck.

A country Fox who is I guess mainly known in the US. A Country singer also. Had a Monster Hit "Billy Joe McCallister jumped off theTallahachi Bridge (sp?) a few years back.
I’m more than away of who Bobbie Gentry is, thanks. It’s Bobby I’m unaware of. My silly little joke becomes even worse when it needs to be explained. The song you are thinking of is Ode to Billy Joe.
Rats! I should have realised the female version would take a different form. I hadn’t checked, but just knew that @TheKevster was fond of her albums. That was my failed joke.
couple of moody shots - LP12 with new Ekos SE fitted - deck 99% finished now, dont have the budget for the R word - but Pre and HCDR work beatifully together
on with system which is now there 252/SC/300DR on Fraim
2 new boxes arrived today all serviced and playing like a dream 62/140
Lingo on the LP12 this Friday and I’m all done…for now
It appears you are using an Atom as source only. I must admit the thought of that has also crossed my mind. Love the few boxes. Have a great desire to declutter my system whilst keeping sq good.
I do wish Naim would use the half box size more often, perhaps a CD transport?
Back to pictures of systems, thanks KJC.
Hard to get an attractive shot of the new set up with medium legs and spaced fraim! It looks quite gangly front on in photographs but from a human perspective (like here) it looks better! I also have the new Titan cable lifts installed in this picture. Being clear they look much better than the mix of blue and grey foam I had been previously using and they also improve the sound. Win win!

Very nice Steve. Are you impressed with the CD555? Seems like quite a few have moved on to the ND555 now.
Are the power supplies on the floor under the rack?
At this time, yes.

Thanks! I did think about the ND555 and am ready in a sense to fit one in as I have the 2x 555PS DR and Super Lumina. I just wanted to try the CD555 first as it does not require all the extra cables, music server and the ripping of 1000+ CD’s. My router is no where near my HiFi so I would need to get at least 1x network cable between them and with hard floors its not easy to hide! The CD555 with twin 555PS DR is still an excellent source and I will demo an ND at some point in the future and see how they compare. Right now I just stick a CD in and press play. That works for me!
I am thinking to use both, why CD and streamer can not Live together?
Tidal is a Huge source
My current system - looking a little thin on the ground since removing the CDX/XPS, four 135s, active crossover and tuner, leaving the NAC52 and Supercap, and installing NDX and P/S, NAP500 - about half the number of boxes.
The ‘rack’ is made of solid walnut, sits on spikes, and there are no shelves. The units sit on brackets attached to the sides of the unit.
Cabling needs to be tidied up a bit.
