System Pics 2020

I hope you’ve still got the serial number label on the back :slight_smile:

Well the sound of the Niagara 1200 suddenly improved enormously (150 hours burn in). It is not simply good, it’s magic…Unbelievable black boackground and clear sounds of instruments. Now i am listening to Neil Cowley Trio with Tough and Flee, unbelievable beautiful in high res from my Melco…Enjoy weekend!

:small_blue_diamond:@Gwarminger,…This comment regarding my advice I do not understand,.can you explain what you mean by this comment.

/Peder🤔

Think it was meant as a joke,a cormorant is a seabird ?

:small_blue_diamond:@Lorro1,…Thanks for the explanation :+1:,.but I think most people understand what I mean.

Is it better to say “cormorants” about this then.?

Cormorants are birds, mainly at sea, known for their excellent fishing skills. In China they (used to) use them to catch fish. They put a ring round their neck - too small to allow the bird to swallow large fish, but big enough for small ones - with a string attached. The cormorant catches a fish, can’t swallow it, get hauled into the boat so the fisherman can retrieve the fish.
I am totally unsure what you mean by cormorant in this connection - is it a joint? or a joist?

That’s ok,we’re both learning here,I’m guessing ,like Beachcomber,that it’s also a joint or joist ?

@HiFiman
:small_blue_diamond:Be careful with the cormorants. They’re often mistaken for shags.

Very happy with the system as is. The most recent changes the Ansuz Powerswitch and the Chord Music Ethernet Cable are not or not so clearly visible.

I suspect no upgrades for 2020…

After long conversing with AudioQuest Europe Commercial Director and learning about the Niagara 1200’s complex off-site global production and transportation process, I finally decided to opt for IsoTek Sirius for my main system.

Cheers.
