One for you Stooge
The CD player finally returned to my dealer, for some strange reason Iām going to miss not having a CD player. Anyway time to just sit back and enjoy the music.
What did you come back with though?
Nothing.
The joys of a universal disc player played into the amp as a back-up
My CDX2 continues , after 18 years still going strong.
You need a good thrashing from the forum and sent back to your dealer until we can see a new toyš
Enjoy what you have - new gear is always waiting for you in your future if you want to try again.
Oh, good idea making your latest system picture a bit shaky Pete, I canāt do anything with thatā¦!
What a room! Bottle of wine, some cheese and music loving mates are all you need - plus some earplugs of course! Love the table, guitars and wallpaper. Sort of an antithesis to the Uniti Nova really. Shows what a range of domestic circumstances Naim, or other manufacturers, have to cater for. Iād love to hear what this sounds like.
Just out of interest, what guitar amp do you play your guitars through?
Thanks for sharing and instigating my jealousy.
Yeah yeah pinball! I knew you were cool. I have a couple of machines. That was a big part of me and my friendās routine after hitting the record store. We would go play pinball all night at the arcade.
Truth is the shoe on the right fell just I took the photo and I couldnāt be bothered to redo it.
Miss Whiplash from the Corrective Party
I had the two way 2523ās for about a year, lovely speaker.
Swapped them for the 3 way 2026ās much better cabinet in my opinion.
ā¦did you go in blindfolded and wearing ear plugs?
Hi and thanks. Guitars through Orange Duel Terror, and Bass through AMPEG SVT Pro Bass. Good job they arenāt in the room - they have been and the S800 sounded terrible as the guitar cabs sucked the life out of them!
Looks great Pete. Different feature art between the speakers to your old room - new piece? Also, was surprised that there are no Rush albums in sight! Iāll drop you an email next week to arrange to meet up sometime.
Strangely my guy suggested I wait, not sure if he knows something or not but heās never pointed in the wrong direction yet so Iāll wait and see what happens.
Thats good advice to follow.
ā¦it is always great when you build a relationship with a dealer who can offer advice without betraying his/her commitment to the manufacturer. A trusting relationship usually pay dividends in the long run.
