Yeah, but which one was “unlistenable”?
I could not really decide until the veil had been lifted to tell the truth, which then opened the window into the music…
Is that a Frogman bronze ?
Are there windows? Or is like the cinema where you go in to watch a movie when it is sunny outside and then exit the room to find it is inexplicably night already.
Oooh, I hate that. Feels like I’ve wasted some daylight somehow.
I had windowless AV rooms from 2005 to 2014 but in different climates. Being unaware of arctic blizzards during a moving marathon is great. But coming out to find it black outside totally mucks up my sleep patterns.
No, I don’t think so.
Hi, everybody. I’ll post a couple of photos of my system. Yes, I don’t own Naim, but I love him with all my heart
Nice, I haven’t seen Crimson amps for quite a while.
Crimson Electrik! I had the two large power amplifiers which I used with a little Creek pre.
Lovely sounding pairing it was.

Oh, I thought you were asking about the speaker, I forgot about the lizard. It’s just a cheap resin, probably made in China. Looks good though, your frog looks better.
Oh yeah, I like the looks of those Volti’s. How do they sound? Are they anything like the Klipsch Forte they seem to be modeled after?
It would probably work better if the components were all connected, and joints soldered…
Haha, yeah it certainly does
Damn that’s a nice room! Rather envious!
First LP playing in about 35 years. I bought the Clearaudio Concept Active package with the MM cartridge. Pay no attention to the tape and packaging, I will clean up soon and figure out what to do for a cabinet later.
It is lovely going into the Nova, smoother or rounder than streaming somehow… but more for the return to tactile and a bit of nostalgia as I head into retirement after tomorrow. Super fun.
Regards alan
Congratulations, enjoy retirement!
Enjoy retirement , some people find it stressful and some take to it like a duck to water.
That’s a lovely set up you have there. I must admit to being slightly jealous of it with it’s simplicity
Best wishes
