Nice idea. Will see what happens. To swap out the 82 and 135s for a 552 and 500 is going to cost around £20k on the used market and at present this will take many years to raise the funds. So for now will be sticking with my hybrid system of CB, olive and black boxes!!

I listen to alot of Dance stations on internet radio. Techno, Drum and Bass. Like Kool FM, Code South and a Russian techno station! Not sure it’s what you are into. Then for my music collection on NAS drive it’s mainly rock. Listen to Planet Rock at work and BBC Sussex.

Listen to CDs, vinyl, internet radio, Spotify and my overall collection on NAS drive.

Listen to music probably 12 hours a day!

Thanks Dan. I’ll give those a try.

I don’t listen nearly as many hours as you do! That’s dedication (or something).

Damn big speaker and bl*** high ceiling… :upside_down_face:

Ah, spring time to open up the house and my Atom is successfully streaming (no strange reboots) to the 272 and Muso.

Having had Neat Iota Alphas for threee years, and the Neats recently knocked out a pair of Allaes (it was really better in my system, especially the bass in my room). I came across a pair of Guru Q10s these were better again. More punch and drive than both Allaes and Alphas. Happy camper!

Lovely.

We had our last day of Summer yesterday and it was a beautiful day.

Then someone thew a switch overnight and today is cool, wet, grey and apparently getting worse!

That’s exactly what happens here these days it’s either summer or winter, no in between. But that’s probably a different thread and a different conversation.

Thanks Gazza :+1:

This is a lovely room, especially the big bifold door to the deck - perfect for a NSW summer. The narrow top windows are a nice touch too. Did you have the house designed and built Pete?

Love the sense of light and space there, beautiful.

Thanks we love it. We didn’t build it we just saw it online on a Thursday, looked at on Saturday and put an offer in on Monday the rest is history. Those windows/doors face north which is great in summer (cooler north easterly breezes and the sun in winter).

Nice room. Speakers look perfect for the massive room you appear to have. Bet they sound great.

Heard the originals of these in their first incarnation and thought they sounded great. How are they up against a wall like you’ve got them here?
