Yes I have. The Oscar Duo is the least expensive standmount and they now have the Parker Duo which is the highest range standmount with the Duke 2 sandwiched in between. No more interest in checking out any other speaker as I believe I’ve reached my destination.
I’m just seeking a different sound although I could live with the Harbeth. I have always wanted to look for an alternative speaker that is more dynamic with better extension in the treble than the Harbeth without sounding too metallic, lean or shrill at the top. I’m glad the Marten fits in nicely.
We had a Luton full to the roof, St Georges did all the packing, well as far as the insurance is concerned. For the hifi that meant sealing the original packaging but I filled it, except for the NBLs. I had two mid driver covers, the transit screws and two bits of card I eventually worked out spaced the bass module but there should have been 4 and I improvised the tweeter cover/upper box cards. The movers took charge of wrapping them.
We travelled by motorcycle (Indian Roadmaster) ourselves having sold the car.
Neither is mine practically everyday when my 16 year daughter old runs across the floor with her headphones on. The rug needs to be repositioned a least four times a day buy she’s at least managed to avoid the LP12 thus far! From time to time I’ve even thought about nailing the rug down!
