I will swap over the 282 and the Power Supply. Thanks Dan.
Most important thing is. Are you happy with it and does it sound good? If so most importantly enjoy it and the music.
My thoughts with the rack that you have are different. I think the 250DR is in the right place. I have found putting any psu near it will lead to a buzz or hum from the 250. I would move the 282 to the bottom of the stack on the left. In that way it only has one psu disrupting it instead of from the top and from the bottom. I would also see if you can put separators/isolation pads between the components if you have the room. I have used simple rubber tap washers to good effect although they will possibly mark the surface as they harden and compress.
It doesnāt workā¦.
I donāt think so. It just looks like a bit. So my suggestion, to have more chance with the WAF factor.
You can get a similar looking rack that is hifi, tv friendly with just one more shelf to split up the components, and the 282 NAPSC power supply can go on the floor, behind the stand on carpet or a little piece of marble or something to keep it just off the carpet. You can get the Same color finish in wood, and uprights. Quadraspire, salamander, are a few.

Check the badgesā¦
It may well be easier, I agree, for domestic acceptance, to simply change HFR models, being essentially similar designsā¦
Ah yes, you are right.
Itās really, already, hifi racks lol.
Put the screen on the wall using a strong armature mount so you can swivel it out.
That will free up two spaces on the top.
Hi @Marantz1300 I see you had a problem uploading a picture to the system pictures thread.
The text in your post says .png which is an image format that usually indicates a large file and I am not sure is supported here.
If you can save your picture as a .jpg or .jpeg file then that will work, and if the image is too big the forum software will tell you to reduce the size. Hope this helps, and welcome to the forum.
I like Hifi Rackās products, but those stands are a bit weird with two supports at the front
To be honest, that is the simple solution. It has, however, been mooted often, and has been met with strong spousal resistanceā¦
It looks like there is a fair bit of space behind the unit. Perhaps you could stack the boxes that donāt require front access behind it.
Might kill two birdsā¦ Separates the PSUs from sensitive kit and reduces visual clutter.
Here is my room. Thinking of getting a 282 to replace the 32.5 and also new racks for the better spacing of the new boxes.
The Clash poster frame hangs over a tv so that it is hidden
when not in use in the music room
There are currently two systems in here for the short term as i am reworking the rest of the house. A Nova with Fyne Audio speakers and the rest as the record/cd main system.
That looks rather comfy ā great listening space!!!
And as a 282 owner, I can certainly recommend the upgrade that is on your radar!
Not sure how the 32.5 compares with my previous pre amp a 202, but the 202/282 upgrade was very significant, and that was with a 200DR! Nice room btw!
Great listening room.
Love the Clash picture. Using it to cover the telly is a simple, but inspired, idea.
Many congratulations, Thatās potentially a great sounding combo. Are the 606s going to stay.?
Great Clash poster, and a neat idea to hide the telly ( Iām not a fan of huge TVs)
