Yes, they absolutely do. The bass is tighter and mid-highs are more open and spacious. I was sceptical but would not want to listen without anymore. I have the Gaia II under the speakers.
I think they look better with.
Ok, thanks. So personally I would not change the deck. Eventually the cart, but specially the phono stage. Even if it’s good, if you try something really better as REGA Aura, Superline, Ear 88 pb…you should have similar level vs Nd555, even more probably.
You could ask @Bart, if he feels that his P10 is on the level of his Nd555 .
My Rp10/ Lyra Delos / phono inside Ear 912 is on similar level vs Nds / 555dr/ Melco n1z2/ Etheregen / Mcru. And really better with top MOFI 45 pm lps.
I sold one of these to a friend decades ago and it’s still going strong!

@biddler66 I have P10/Aphelion 2 / Superline / SupercapDR. As for pure musical enjoyment we feel it is on par with our ND555. Obviously “different,” but not “worse.”
If I had it to do over again I would have spent more time listening to the Rega Aura phonostage. One box has an advantage over 1.5.
The Superline, when it was 10 yrs old and not been recapped, and we powered directly from the 552, was well ahead of the Aria phono stage to us. It actually surprised us how good it was. I then invested in getting it serviced and in buying a Supercap DR.
Nice room and a cool cat.
Changes is past year- replaced my cds xps with ndx2/XPSdr.
Kudos titan T88s replaced Focal 1038s.
Lastly bought Uptone ER switch
Rest of system 52/super/01/135s
Sound Faber Amati traditions set up yesterday replacing B&W 804d2. Upgraded NAC a5 speaker cables to super lumina. Amati’s now fill the room with sound; initially with a5’s but the super luminas add clarity/precision. NDS/552dr/500dr black boxes inside bigger black box, but you all know what they look like.
Amazing! And I really really like that sideboard!
The Classic series is sitting with the Olive boxes far better than I imagined they would. Killer system there @davidf.
Great looking room, system. Those speakers look stunning.
@Dreadatthecontrols I was so impressed with the Powernode, and it served me very well while the NAP250 was at Salisbury being serviced. I agree that the BluOS app is a bit buggy, but apart from that I was amazed by the sound quality (using Tidal or streaming CD-quality or hi-res files directly from my Mac) and the feature set, especially for £799. There is obviously a seriously good DAC and power amp in that little box.
It’s also great because it makes streaming incredibly simple, you just plug the thing in, connect to your wifi or network, download the app and Tidal Connect and you are ready to go. No faffing about with extra boxes, Roon etc
When I have to send the unit back, I will seriously consider buying a Bluesound product myself, probably the Node 2i (£499) to act as a streamer – with vinyl and CD/SACD as the main sources.
With. Great system and room regardless.
I think they have ‘cleaned up’ the sound. Also helps to lift them to a better height. The speakers were initially on IsoAcoustics mini-pucks but I have put these under the Nait and ND5.
Simply Impressive
Hello @afgverhart
The AudioQuest Niagara 1200 is a huge investment for the uniti atom. was it noticeably worth it? I have the HMS Energia MKII Basic filter power strip on the Uniti Star.
