Most of us love our Sweetie
And our system picsā¦
Gazza is correct. Itās the Krell kps25s. I think itās the best source Krell ever made. I owned it since it came out in '98 and love it since. ( till it was replaced by a CD555 ) Recently it went through a complete overhaul so it would be interesting to compare them. There is one similarity between them. They both use BB 1704 chip set.
Very thanks Pete.
Someone get a room please !!
Itās quite clear that Mike S and FR have feelings for each other. I think they need to be left alone.
At the risk of misinterpretation: photos please!
They look very good and weighty. Iām planning to audition them soon and maybe buy them too. Is that in the picture a Supernait 2 or 3? Did you compare the 500s with other speakers before buying them? Also, I see they are not that far from the rear wall, then it seems they are easily set up.
As requested in my āBack on the Naim forumā post, a pic of my system. Not my finest moment in photography but it gives an idea.

Very nice Richard thanks for posting, never heard ofthose speakers will look them upš SF is sonus faberā¦ā¦very nice
A bit of spare time and the crappy weather yesterday gave me the opportunity to strip down my racks, clean away all the accumulated spiders and dust and do a bit of tidying.
Iāve moved my Sonos Connect off the rack and onto the wall where itās hidden along with mains gubbins for the non Hi-Fi bits. I also took the opportunity to ādressā my recently acquired Powerlines properly too.
The Kudos 606s are settling in very nicely and Iāve been tweaking their position over the last week. They are remarkably easy speakers to site but a little bit of care here is paying extra dividends in the final result. Apart from trying out some Kudos KS-1 cable to see if it betters my Mogami speaker cable (shame it only comes in white), thatās it now for this yearā¦
Very nice.
La class, James!
All looks very taste and purposeful there James Enjoy Peter
I know I have mentioned it before, but I really like that rug - the colors are excellent.
The look of your room doesnāt accentuate the kudos quite like it did for your shahinians.
Would be interested in reading your thoughts between them. Two very different speakers with most probably two very different ways of putting music in the room.
Something different for System Pics

Looks great James. I home demoed the Kudos KS-1 against the Mogami 2972 feeding my Shahinians a little while back, I wasnāt 100% sure, a bit swings and roundabouts, but overall I think I preferred it. Certainly, I was impressed enough to want to buy a set given the cost. Iāve not placed the order yet as I need to work out what length Iāll need in the new listening room, but itās a great cable and if it works better than Mogami with Shahinian then it may well be your best choice with the 606ās Iād suggest. I think there are a few dealers who will lend you a set to home demo. Agree, white is a minor drawback. Black would be my choiceā¦
