I’d just hide the Napsc on the floor round the back. The performance of the Headline is compromised by placing it on the Napsc so it depends whether sound or show is most important to you.
I am at the other end of the Kudos food chain, with my X3’s - but they have slotted in to my system (replacing Royd Doublets, which replaced Linn Kans), very nicely…
Great views and great speakers. Don’t they get hot where they are? I assume you have shades to protect them.
Is it MTB straight out the door? Probably should ask that one in another thread.
And a Sound Factory Tripod too, with the frame for an LP12. Nice.
Correct. I used to have more Tripods, but they were sold when I got my Isoblue…
I bought one of the very first Tripods from Sound Advice, with the Linn on top, two shelves for the 42.5 and Creek tuner, and the large unit like yours for the 250 and Hicap. Sadly, the Sound Factory is now flats and Sound Advice are long gone. I couldn’t sell the Tripods so they went in the steel recycling.
No change for a while, but I thought I’d post a new picture anyway. As a next step I’ve been contemplating a Vertere SG-1 as a replacement for my Tabriz zi for some time now, but it is sounding so good at it seems difficult to justify changing anything. I’ll just buy some more vinyl instead…
Fab Ian - nice to see another Tripod user!
We mostly have semi-shades - speakers seem to cope ok with the semi-direct sunlight.
The main rig is in the basement where there is little problem of direct sunlight. Also no family to complain when the music gets a little too lively
Haha, that was me trying to upset some people.
i know you were joking!
Impressive setup. Love those Amati’s.
I had no problems in selling my Tripods in 2009 - on the usual well known auction website…
The Buyer had some already and wanted some more. Happy to help. Not for much, but it all helps.
Yes, my last tripod is still going. No plan to replace it. Still works well.
See also my reply to @anon4489532 , above.
I can see a lot of Tripod DNA in the Naim Fraim and other 3 legged stands. But I think I also read that Isoblue was also Tripod derived…?
I moved my NAPSC from my rack out of view and onto the floor. Can I tell the difference, audibly? No.
A lot of these positioning arguments are just nonsense, in terms of hearing a difference. Enjoy the music.
I found the same, but putting the Headline right on top of it, on a shelf crammed full of PSUs is another matter. I would move the Headline, not the NAPSC.
I’m limited a bit with cable length
