Did you have the chance to compare them with the big sisters behind? What is your opinion?
Thank you. Purchased earlier this year, the Amatis replaced B&W 804d3âs. Look almost as good as they sound.
@Petersfi stunning system !! Do you think the 500Dr is a « necessity » for the Amatiâs or would 300Dr also work?
Iver
I jumped from a 250dr straight to the 500 so donât really know.
Canât imagine a 300 wouldnât suffice for most loudspeakers and donât recall anyone on the forum suggesting otherwise.
Hi @Petersfi , I remember one post from a user from Dubai who also runs Amati and said someting that they really opened up moving from 300Dr to 500Dr. I am considering either Serafino or Amati but to be honest didnât plan to replace my 300Dr

I suspect the Amati/Serafino choice would be influenced more by your room size/configuration. My volume dial is never past 9 oâclock with the Amatis in a large room.
I love your cabinet as well.
Thank you. Iâm not keen on displaying the electronics a la fraim, but the purists amongst us would likely disagree.
That system looks neat and tidy. Very nice.
It all looks good on that cabinet.
Like that piece of furniture - can you share any details?
I bought it secondhand for a couple of euroâs from someone a few bloks away. It is really heavy. But I am very sorry, that is all I can tell. But yes I am also very happy with it.
You get an A+ from me for an excellent pickup!
Picked up a 2nd hand Muso for my daughters room, obviously whilst itâs doubling as my office ill keep it ticking over for her .
At least Iâm getting some music now until my lovely ATCs are back to full health
Graeme, Not quite full on MTB straight out the door, but not bad - we are at around 600m and we have a col behind us (few km away) that goes to 1200 m⊠I am still doing it without battery power, but seems to take me longer and longer to cycle up there nowadays!
This is a picture of my second system after our kitchen building project. I have to say the iotas are still getting significantly better after 6 months of playâŠ
Youâve done a lovely job there.
Thanks, weâre very pleased with it.
New furniture for the kitchen system. Before, the Atom and speakers were a on a rickety corner desk which was always a mess of paperwork, the TT on some drawers next to it. This is a big aesthetic improvement and a reasonable sonic one too. And my wife is pleased that the sub is partially hidden.
What we miss now is any light from this corner. Iâve seen those LED L-shaped things - itâs a nice ambient light they give off and we need a bit more actual light - so any ideas of what could fit in this corner would be welcomed.
